A photographer's joy is when her clients are willing to do anything, try anything, get dirty, get into uncomfortable, even sometimes slightly painful positions for a good shot !
North Carolina clients, Tyler and Contessa, were just that couple. From old cars to guitars, abandon houses, to field shacks where music eerily played from inside the building (yes it was strange and haunting), they were gung ho !
I had expressed my fear of the brown recluse spider to Contessa and Tyler and Contessa showed off her "recluse scars" on her upper thigh. Yes, this woman had surved several recluse bites.
I saw an old bucket car seat inside the shack and thought "hey, perfect spot for a photo." I pointed it out to the couple and Tyler said "now THAT is your typical brown recluse hide-out". Well needless to say, I steer VERY clear of that area. New things to think about during shoots now that I am in North Carolina...haha.
